As a first time buyer I didn’t have any experience with what a full renovation would entail. Especially for an apartment that hadn’t been renovated in 30 years. Charlie is very experienced with renovations in old pre-war buildings and guided me every step of the way. He advised me on materials, the scope of work, and the expected time line to completion. He was in constant communication with progress of completed work and next steps as well as making frequent site visits. My apartment is now beautiful, modern looking and with triple the amount of storage space than what I had before. I’m extremely happy with the work and will be calling Charlie again for my bathroom renovation. Most importantly, my Coop Board and neighbors were extremely happy with Charlie’s communication with them and his team’s respect of our common areas. And the entry way is gorgeous! We then moved on to the same work in the hallway, brought them back to do window trim, then bedroom baseboards and now they're in the living room working on a shelf system that’s turning out to be JUST GREAT! I am so glad I found these guys! Juan is a genius at stripping paint off old metal door frames and Roberto is a master carpenter, making magic around my windows and baseboards.. I love having these guys take such good care of my projects and my home. They work while I'm here and when I'm away and I'm always thrilled to come home and see how beautiful things turn out. My super, who performs many high end renovations in the building, was so impressed with the their work he confided “I was lucky to have found Sparta Construction”.
